A headquarters on two adjacent floors of a Midtown tower, designed for a Manhattan design company. The lower floor is the open studio, the conference room, and the public-facing reception. The mezzanine above holds the library, three quiet offices, and the CEO suite, connected by a single sculptural stair painted oxide red.

The two floors trade noise for quiet. Downstairs, the open work area runs the long axis of the plate, lit by a grid of globe pendants and skylights above; the break room and conference are pulled out to the perimeter. Upstairs is wood, leather, paper — the library sits at the centre, walled in white oak, with the offices wrapped around it.

The project was carried fully into construction documents — demolition, partition, RCP, finish, and details — on a thirty-sheet set issued to a real construction-document instructor for review.
